Computerised Sound Mixing Desk (CSMD) is a simple easy to use piece of software that allows you to mix sound effects and music together quickly. It was designed in 2005 to replace a simple sound setup e.g. 2 CD Players and a Mixer. The software encapsulates this and allows you to create playlists which can me mixed and or recorded to .Wav. The input files can be mp3, wav and wma. The software can be either used as a small portable mixing studion or as a live mixing desk for small to medium sized productions. With users world wide in schools, drama groups and for personal use CSMD has now well and truely stamped its mark on the market. There are currently 2 version of CSMD. CSMD Standard and CSMD Advanced.
CSMD Standard
CSMD Standard provides all the features you need to mix together sound effects and run shows. You can mix together upto 3 different sources and send the output to a live amp or record to .wav
CSMD Advanced
CSMD Advanced provides all the features you need to mix together sound effects and run shows, as features in CSMD Standard. However it includes more advanced track features which allow users to trim tracks, setup advanced fades etc.
